Chief Keef (Keith Farelle Cozart) was born on August 15,1995 in Chicago, Illinois. Keith's mother was only 15 when he was born, and he grew up surrounded by, drugs, crime, violence, and poverty. He would catch the attention of the Southside community of Chicago when he released a mixtape called The Glory Road and Bang. in the following months he would release "I Don't Like", under the name Chief Keef that would become an iconic song of his career, even catching the attention of rap sensation, Kanye West. He would become a huge success in Chicago, and would sign with Interscope Records, and given his own imprint, Glory Boyz Entertainment (GBE). Following this he would release his Debut Album, Finally Rich in 2012. He just barely turned 17 when it released. The album went certified platinum and would have many iconic songs that are still well renowned over 10 years later such as, "Love Sosa", "Hallelujah" "Hate Bein' Sober" and many more. Chief Keef would continue making music through the 2010s, and became extremely influential for Rappers, and Hip Hop Artists around the world, he is still active today.
